I bought i20 Elite VTVT in Aug 2016 from Kothari Hyundai, Aundh Pune. My car is sparingly used (Only 35K in 8 years). It is serviced regularly in company dealer workshop. My car did work decently for first 5-6 years (Barring extremely low milage - 12 KMPL) however car is continuously having problems in past couple of years. Car has simply stops functioning in middle of the drive couple of times. I have concluded that car built is poor. Switching to German brand or Toyota. Even Maruti is better option !

Though the car is good, The customer service at Goa Hyundai and Alcon is worst. They work towards issuing bills but they do not do proper work. Once i had given my car as there was a concern with my Clutch and the ABC indicator was blinking. They returned the car by charging me that the issue is resolved. However, the next day, the car stopped on the middle of the road in the market and i had to raise concern with the Mumbai office. Later they came and replaced the part. This time i had given my car due to water seepage on the back seat. They told me I need to change the antenna as the water seepage was through the antenna. After keeping my car for 20 days, they returned stating there is no seepage. However, after returning the car and due to heavy rainfall, the water seepage was still there. I personally feel so terrible with the way their customer service is.. I am of the strong opinion that the modus operandi is to EXTORT the customer without providing PROPER SERVICE AND SOLUTION

My review with i20 is fantastic. The car build quality is great and it just loves gaining speed. I am using the diesel engine which returns me good mileage even when we are speeding crazily with the car. The fuel tank capacity is really good and I have done over 1000 km from a single tank. The pick-up is quite punchy and the features in the car are quite good as well. Just the service cost is quite expensive.

The buying experience was pleasant, and the staff was very polite. The pros of this car include its sporty look, spacious cabin, effective air conditioning, and decent fuel efficiency, though this can vary based on driving style. On the downside, the car has a stiff suspension, is somewhat pricey, and the infotainment system can be challenging to use. Additionally, the after-sales service could be improved, as there's a tendency to inflate bills unnecessarily.

A good one I have seen in ever best segment hatchback and value for money is this one low service amount.
