Tata Nexon Tata Heading Right

I have been keenly following the Tata Nexon since its unveiling at the 2016 Auto Expo. In fact, I have seen the Nexon at the last Expo. The crossover looks fantastic. For decades Tata has been making boring looking cars, but the new ones like Tigor and Nexon are high on style. The Tata Nexon also gets some interesting features like 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system by Harman, Voice commands for climate control and Smart-key with push-button starter. Tata has also got safety aspect right with features like dual front airbags and ABS as standard. The rear seats fold flat which means more space for luggage. Another thing I like is the dial to choose between driving modes i.e. city, eco and sport right from base versions. How cool is that? Overall premiumness and comfort level also seems to be a notch higher than its competitors like the Maruti Vitara Brezza or the Ford EcoSport. From what I have read, it seems the engine of this machine is quite good and will be returning good mileage. Vitara Brezza doesn?t even have a petrol engine while the Nexon has both the petrol and diesel options. I am waiting eagerly for September 21, the day the Nexon launches. I'm betting for the Nexon's expected price to be Rs 6.5 lakh for the base variant. Fingers crossed.
