Mahindra is among the country's most celebrated brands, and it had recently launched the much awaited TUV300. This is a vehicle belonging to the compact SUV segment, and it shares the design platform as other vehicles from the brand. Among the variants available, the Mahindra TUV 300 T6 Plus stands as a mid range trim. This version comes with its own niche of features. Starting with the heavier side, it is armed with a turbocharged mHawk engine that displaces 1493cc. This engine has been conditioned for sound fuel economy in addition to performance, it meets the BS4 emission norms. There are techno aids such as the ABS and EBD that further cement control. Numerous safety facilities are also provided, starting from airbags and seatbelts to a robust body format that reduces damage during collisions. The SUV is equipped with a 1.5-litre mHawk80 diesel engine. It consists of 3 cylinders, and displaces 1493cc. Its working is further enhanced with a two stage turbocharger. The mill develops a power of 84bhp at 3750rpm, coupled with a torque of 230Nm at 1500rpm to 2250rpm. The engine is supported by a five speed manual gearbox, which enables easy shifting and improved performance.

For the braking requirements, the company has given it strong discs for the front and drums at the rear.
