Best vehicle for the price. On road price of the rapid top end variant is around 16 lakhs. The best engine you will get in the segment and definitely delivers better performance either in city traffic or highway ride. Rapid MPI petrol
Design and features: The build quality is excellent but the dashboard design is a bit disappointing. The interiors are of impeccable standards and the plastics are upmarket. High Maintenance cost.
Skoda Rapid has a high maintenance cost, the Service cost is too high. I have driven my car around 85000 km and the engine requires a lot of work. The Skoda Service centre gives me an estimate of around 80000 rs, for a single maintenance run.

Best Petrol car
I bought this petrol Ambition plus model car in 2012. This is the best car in its segment with less engine noise inside and no noise outside. Easy to turn in small roads and good mileage of 14-16kms/l in the city and on the highway. Excellent car
Bought the car 1 year back. 1.5style plus AT. I can say that this is the best car in its segment. I had owned a Benton Highline manual before. Test drove all cars in this segment multiple times and could not get a better car. DSG is simply superb. The great changes are barely noticable. The engine is a gem - 1.5 tdi. Dont buy skoda cars even if they give you one for free
I choose this car under an illusion of quality product and services but thats all an myth. Engine failure at just 140000 km which is costing about 5 lakh rupees and problem with AC since the day I purchased. 1. Dysfunctional air conditioning unit 2. Last memory of my dream car
I bought this car in Dec.2012 and finally sold today on 27th April 2018 with mileage of 178000/- km on through away price. I sold this car with heavy heart feelings as I know that this is the finest car in terms of pick-up & grip on any type of roads. Own a red edition x diesel dsg. Ever Since I drove a dsg I became a big fan of this marvellous piece of automatic gearbox. I have driven all kind of automatics AMT, CVT, and TORQUE CONVERTER to finally my all time favourite DSG of VW group. Never go for Skoda -Injector complaints,pathetic after sales
This is my personal experience about Skoda Rapid.With in first ten thousand kilometer first injector gone. If anyone experience this symptoms like engine warning light on, with heavy shivering then either one or more injectors of the car gone. A car that provides you ample fun and trust on road
Hello Everyone,My name is Sai and I just bought the 1.5 Skoda Rapid diesel in Feb 2017. I must say it is very pleasant to drive and to sum up ( in 2 words ) "A surprise package". Skoda rapid .! A gem of a car
It is really a gem in terms of Performance and handling. It just goes 185+ without any strain . Fuel economy is great even when it is pushed really hard. Skoda Rapid 1.6 MPI Ambition- Class within budget.
With a budget of just around 10 lakhs for a sedan and quite a few options I narrowed my list to : Maruti Ciaz, Hyundai Verna,Skoda Rapid, Vento, and Honday City. The Honda was a little out of budget, the ciaz too big with very less power and the verna, I personally did not like the flimsy electronic steering wheel. Final Call the Skoda rapid. Most of the sedans in this price range either offer nice looks or performance without asking for too much maintenance but Skoda rapid is the only sedan which offers a combo of looks as well as performance in genuine price.
