In this price range best hatchback from last 3 years in terms of looks, performance, space. Low maintenance and affordable parts. Baleno is the best option for a mediocre family.

Seating and driving very comfortable decent mileage in city 14-16kmpl, the maintenance cost of the car is low. The rear camera function is very helpful, can easily drive or manipulate in-crowd. Fun to drive & own. Excellent power to weight ratio makes it fun to drive a car with excellent mileage. I use Alpha diesel variant. Maruti Baleno is good in space. But periodical maintenance is very high when compared with the same segment car of Toyota, Ford, and Tata. It will cost around 10000 in every 10000km service.

I own a Baleno Zeta Petrol (ray blue). I bought a 2018 version in Feb 2018. It has already been almost 1.5 years and has almost driven 18000 ms. I am completely amazed by the car.
