FIRST OF WILL BE THE GENERAL INFORMATION. INNOVA CRYSTA: INNOVA WAS ALWAYS A NICE TRAVEL COMPANION WITH CAPTAIN SEATS AND THE EXTRA THIRD ROW TO CARRY MORE PASSENGERS. FOR THE COMPANY IT WAS A HUGE TASK TO TAKE IT TO A NEXT LEVEL AND MAKE IT MORE APPEALING TO FAMILY BUYERS. INNOVA WAS NEVER A PREMIUM MUV, UNTIL WHEN IN 2016 INNOVA CRYSTA WAS LAUNCHED. THE REASON WHY INNOVA IS NOW ALSO A PREMIUM MUV IS BECAUSE OF THE ALLIANCE OF INDO-JAPANESE COMPANY AND TOY. TOY MUST HAVE THOUGHT TO UP THE LEVEL OF THE INNOVA BECAUSE ACCORDING TO THE TERMS OF THE ALLIANCE JAPANESE WOULD PROVIDE TOY WITH THE ERTIGA SO THEY MADE THE INNOVA MORE PREMIUM AND A BIT MORE PRICEY SO THAT THE ERTIGA SITS COMFORTABLY BENEATH THE INNOVA CRYSTA. INNOVA CRYSTA NOW OFFERS THREE TRIMS THE BASE ON IS GX, MIDDLE ONE VX AND THE TOP END IS THE ZX TRIM. UNDER THE HOOD: INNOVA NOW COMES WITH 3 ENGINE CHOICES 1: 2.4 LITRE DIESEL WHICH IS PAIRED TO A 5 SPEED MANUAL. 2: 2.7 LITRE PETROL WHICH IS PAIRED WITH BOTH A 5 SPEED MANUAL AND A 6 SPEED AUTOMATIC. 3: 2.8 LITRE DIESEL WHICH IS PAIRED TO A 6 SPEED AUTOMATIC. EXTERIOR: THE FRONT OF THE INNOVA WILL CARRY ON A STATEMENT "LOVE IT" OR "HATE IT". FOR ME OBVIOUSLY, ITS LOVE IT. I JUST LOVE THE EXTERIORS OF THE INNOVA CRYSTA. FROM THE FRONT IT HAS SLEEK AND LONG HEADLAMPS WITH LED AND DAYTIME RUNNING HEADLAMPS. THE GRILLE IS NOW MUCH LARGER WITH MANY PARALLEL LINES RUNNING IN BLACK AND THE NOSE ALONG WITH THE FIRST TWO LINES ARE GREY WITH A METALLIC STRIP RUNNING BETWEEN THEM. THE FOG LAMPS ARE HOUSED REALLY NICELY MUCH BELOW THE HEADLAMPS. BUT IT IS ONLY IN THE TOP END VARIANT IN WHICH YOU GET LED LIGHTS AND FOGLAMPS. TOY HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING TO MAKE THE INNOVA LOOK LESS LIKE A VAN TYPE, BUT GOT FULL MARKS FOR THE EFFORT. THE INNOVA CRYSTA'S SIDE PROFILE IS A LESS VAN TYPE THAN ITS PREDECESSOR. IN THE TOP END VARIANT YOU GET CHROME GARNISHED SIDE MIRRORS AND WINDOW LINE. THOUGH IT SITS ON SMALL 17 INCH WHEELS THEY LOOK FINE FOR THE CAR. THE FAVOURITE OF THE INDIAN MARKET IS MISSING, A SUNROOF. THOUGH YOU GET A SHARK FIN ANTENNA. THE BACK OF THE INNOVA IS BRILLIANT. THE L SHAPED TAILLAMPS LOOK GREAT AND THE PROPORTION OF EVERYTHING IS BALANCED THAT MAKES IT PLEASING TO THE EYE. INTERIOR: FROM INSIDE THE INNOVA LOOKS FAR RICHER THAN BEFORE. NOW I WILL TELL YOU THE STANDARD FEATURES IN ALL THE TRIMS - YOU GET A 7 INCH TOUCHSCREEN. THERE ARE THREE DRIVE MODES ECO, NORMAL, POWER. NOW THE BASE TRIM GETS 3 AIRBAGS WITH A MANUAL A/C. IT GETS FABRIC SEATS. THE TOP END TRIM GETS 7 AIRBAGS AND AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL. THERE ARE MANY COLOURS OF LEATHER SEAT UPHOLESTRY TO CHOOSE FROM YOU GET STRIPED SHADES OF BLACK, COPPERY TAN AND IVORY. THE DOOR ARMREST ARE THE SAME COLOUR AS THE SEATS. MY PICK IN ALL THESE UPHOLESTRY COLOUR WILL BE THE COPPERY TAN COLOUR BECAUSE IT MAKES THE CAR FEEL MORE AIRIER. THE REASON WHY I DID NOT CHOOSE IVORY IS THAT IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO MAINTAIN THE COLOUR. THE REASON WHY I DID NOT CHOOSE BLACK IS THAT IT FEELS TIGHT IN THE CABIN AND SINCE BLACK ABSORBS HEAT YOU WOULD NOT LIKE TO FRY YOURSELF. THERE IS AN OPTION WHETHER YOU WANT CAPTAIN SEATS OR BENCH SEATS AS YOUR MIDDLE ROW. THE TOP END ONLY GETS CAPTAIN SEATS. YOU SHOULD BE BUYING CAPTIAN SEATS AS THEY ARE MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE. COMFORT: IF COMFORT IS THE CRITERIA IT IS THE INNOVA THAT IS THE BEST IN ITS SEGMENT. A SIX FOOTER WILL HAVE ENOUGH LEG AND HEADROOM IN THE SECOND ROW YOU CAN RECLINE THE SEATS AND THE NEW ONE TOUCH TUMBLE MECHANISM IS A CLEVER TOUCH TO MAKE THE THIRD ROW EASILY ACCESSIBLE. THE THIRD ROW IS BEST OF CHILDREN AND ADULTS WHO ARE BELOW THE HEIGHT OF 5'5. OVERALL THIS CAR IS REALLY COMFORTABLE AND HAS A LARGE AMOUNT OF SPACE. YOU ALSO GET RED STITCHING ON BLACK SEATS.THE BACK OF THE INNOVA ALSO HAS A COSMETIC CHANGE, THE STRIP THAT RUNS BETWEEN THE TAILLAMPS IS NOW BLACK. THE INNOVA TOURING SPORT SITS ON 16 INCH BLACK ALLOYS INSTEAD OF INNOVA CRYSTA'S 17 INCH GREY ALLOYS. INNOVA CRYSTA IS AVAILABLE IN COLOURS LIKE BRONZE, GARNET RED, GREY, SILVER AND WHITE. WHILE THE INNOVA TOURING SPORT IS AVAILABLE IN WILDFIRE RED AND SUPER WHITE. THIS IS THE END OF THIS BLOG BUT I WILL BE UPDATING YOU ON MORE CARS.
