The Thar is a good choice if you're looking for a car with a strong road presence and that 'king of the road' feeling. You can go for it without any hesitation. However, there are some cons. The ride quality is bouncy, the front suspension is really good, but the rear suspension is quite bouncy. There is a lack of boot space, almost no space. The performance is really nice due to its boxy design. At higher speeds, it doesn't push too well; it remains quite stable till 110. The rear seats are fine, not too good and not bad; they are best for 2 people. NVH levels are good; when you push the accelerator, a slight amount of noise enters the cabin, but it's acceptable. At higher speeds, wind noise comes in after 80. Sometimes, you won't feel that you're sitting in a diesel car. The mileage is pretty impressive (diesel automatic). The steering is quite hard.
