Four-wheel drive, high ground clearance, and steep inclines make the Thar suited for rugged trails. Off-road performance perfection or ferocity may cause bumpy road rides. Thar is less comfy than metropolitan SUVs yet offers decent features. But the Mahindra Thar's unmatched off-road ability and genuine adventure have won its devotees.
