I bought the 2022 Hyundai Venue SX 1.2L Petrol Manual. Buying experience: Due to budget constraints and my preference being SUVs due to higher ground clearance and high seating position. My priority was good performance and feature loaded. This shortlisted me to two cars- Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue. I preferred the Kia Sonet due to its sporty drive quality, but my family wanted a comfortable car. Plus Venue's rear was more usable than the Sonet. I am not a fan of an automatic gearbox. It just takes out the entire driving pleasure. I chose the 1.2L petrol due to low highway running and better fuel efficiency. PROs: 1. Feature Loaded 2. The facelift has got a character and turns heads on the street. 3. Smooth Clutch travel and Light steering make it perfect for city conditions. 4. The engine is very refined and the car is perfectly sized hence you'll not feel tired even in traffic CONs: 1. Lack of auto-dimming IRVM, Rain sensing wipers, and rear wiper and washer. 2. Pickup is adequate for the city but leaves a lot to be desired on highways 3. Performance is very linear. It's comfortable hence nothing for enthusiasts. The overall experience has been quite good. I have driven this close to 1000 km and hence I can say that it has been quite nice to drive it around. The facelift looks great in white color and all the features are useful and practical. The mileage has been between 10.5-12 kmpl and on the highway, it goes up to 14-15 km. It's comfortable to drive the car and you will be at home in this. The pickup as I said is perfect for the city and you will be raring to use it every day. I recently had my first service done and it cost me 0 rupees. I must say Hyundai has one of the best sales and after-sales service networks. Right from buying the car and services everything has been smoothly done, plus they have always been available for every single detail, and doubt. They even offer pickup and drop-off services for your vehicle and there is very good peace of mind where Hyundai is concerned. In conclusion, I would say that if you want an SUV with features, performance, and excellent features, Hyundai has made a perfect product.
