At that time, buying a hybrid car was a bold decision in itself but with the growing awareness about electric and hybrid vehicles in the country, the outlook has changed. With Prius, you get a powerful combination of electric and petrol motor with the excellent mileage you won't dare to compare any car with it. You are blessed with a futuristic cabin inside including the 4.2 inch TFT screen and the 7-inch touchscreen with which you can play around with your phone as it supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. However, with all its upmarket attributes, the atrocious pricing is the reason behind the car not selling in the country. Yes, you can put this car in pure electric mode in cities that can save you a lot, but it's too not worth the price. Instead of showing this pricy green message to the people, company should set up an assembly line in the country and price it sanely. There are other inexpensive alternatives in higher segments such as Honda Accord and Toyota Camry that anyone can buy. For me, it's just a wastage of money, nothing else.
