Maruti Suzuki India Limited, country's largest car maker has launched the limited edition of its MPV Ertiga. It is available in petrol, diesel and CNG engine options for the buyers to choose from. This Maruti Ertiga VXI Limited Edition variant is equipped with a 1.4-litre petrol engine, which comes with a displacement capacity of 1373cc. It has the ability to churn out a maximum power of 93.7bhp in combination with 130Nm. This petrol motor is cleverly mated with a five speed manual transmission gear box, which allows the MPV to achieve a maximum speed of approximately 155 Kmph. At the same time, it can cross the speed barrier of 100 Kmph in close to 15.5 seconds that is rather decent for this segment. The company has added a few features to its exteriors, which includes a sporty rear spoiler, a set of 10-spoke alloy wheels, a bold radiator grille with three chrome slats, attractive body graphics and chrome plated door handles. At the same time, it also gets a few additional features in its interiors, which are wooden finished instrument panel and door trims, floor mats with 'Limited Edition' badging, rear parking sensors with digital display and high grade integrated radio. This variant is available in three exterior paint options, which includes Superior White, Silky Silver and Pearl Blaze Blue finish for the buyers to choose from.

Exteriors:

The overall dimensions of this multi purpose vehicle are quite standard and it can easily accommodate five passengers. It is designed with a large wheelbase of 2740mm that ensures a spacious cabin inside. The minimum ground clearance is 185mm, which helps in dealing with any road condition. It comes with an overall length of 4265mm along with a decent height of 1685mm and a total width of 1490mm, which includes external rear view mirrors. It has 45 litre fuel tank, which helps in planning longer journeys. On the other hand, the front fascia is designed with a bold radiator grille with three chrome plated slats. It is embossed with a company logo in the center. This grille is flanked by a well-lit headlight cluster, which is powered by halogen lamps and side turn indicator. The body colored bumper has a wide air dam for cooling the engine quickly and is surrounded by a couple of fog lamps. The large windscreen is integrated with a set of intermittent wipers and the sleek bonnet has a couple of visible character lines. Coming to the side profile, it is designed with stylish body decals and chrome plated door handles. The body colored outside rear view mirrors are electrically adjustable and integrated with turn indicator. The neatly carved wheel arches are fitted with an elegant set of 15 inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, which are covered with 185/65 R15 sized tubeless radial tyres. On the other hand, the rear end has a body colored bumper with fog lamps, a bright tail light cluster and curvy boot lid. The windscreen is fitted with a sporty rear spoiler, which is integrated with a high mounted stop lamp.

Interiors:

The dual tone (beige and black) internal cabin is incorporated with well cushioned seats, which are covered with fabric upholstery. These seats provide ample leg space and shoulder room for all the passengers . It has a number of utility based aspects, which include remote fuel lid opener, an accessory power outlet, sun visors with vanity mirror, rear reading lamp, cup holders, front seat back pockets and many other such aspects as well. The illuminated instrument cluster houses quite a few functions like a low fuel warning light, an electronic multi-tripmeter, a digital clock, tachometer and door ajar warning notification. The smooth dashboard is equipped with a few features, which are a large glove box, a three spoke steering wheel, AC vents and an instrument cluster.

This Maruti Ertiga VXI Limited Edition variant is equipped with a 1.4-litre, K-series petrol engine, which is based on variable valve timing (VVT). It is integrated with four cylinders and sixteen valves using double overhead camshaft based valve configuration. It is incorporated with a multi point fuel injection supply system, which allows the MPV to generate 16.02 Kmpl on the highways and 12.3 Kmpl within the city because of heavy traffic conditions. This petrol motor has the ability to churn out a maximum power of 93.7bhp at 6000rpm in combination with 130Nm of peak torque output at 4000rpm. It is mated with a five speed manual transmission gear box, which sends the engine power to front wheels.

Braking and Handling:

Its front axle is paired with a McPherson strut and the rear axle is coupled with torsion beam system. Its front wheels are fitted with disc brakes, whereas the rear ones have drum brakes. It is also incorporated with a rack and pinion based electric power steering system, which provides excellent response on roads.

Comfort Features:

This Maruti Ertiga VXI Limited Edition trim is blessed with a high end music system that supports a Radio, CD player, USB input and has four speakers. It is also blessed with a heating ventilation and air conditioning system along with second row AC vents that keeps the entire ambiance pleasant. Apart from these, it has aspects like all four power windows, front seat belt height adjuster, power steering with tilt adjustment, green tinted glass and front intermittent wiper. In addition to these, it has day and night inside rear view mirror, front door trim pocket, glove box unit, front sun visors with passenger's side vanity mirror and remote fuel lid opener as well.
