Mated to a 5-speed manual transmission gear box, it distributes power to the front wheels. Performance of this mill certainly disappoints especially, compared to its rivals. The company claims that it returns a maximum mileage of 18.15 kmpl when on highways, and around 15.5 kmpl within the city.

Ride & Handling:

This mid range variant is equipped with 185/65 R14 tyre set which do not contribute in controlling the understeer. To an extent, these skinny tyres may result in mediocre handling especially, during tight bends and in sudden braking conditions. The suspension system is quite efficient with its front axle mounted with an independent McPherson Strut featuring dual path mounts and coil spring. Meanwhile, the rear axle comes with a semi-independent twist beam with coil spring. This suspension system does provide a comfortable ride. On the other hand, its electric power steering column gives quick response and makes the drive quite decent.

Safety:

Mahindra KUV100 mFALCON G80 K4 promises a safer ride with various aspects such as ABS with EBD. Child locks on rear doors, collapsible steering column and engine immobilizer join hands in protecting the drive. However, this mid range variant lacks air bags, which questions the safety of its occupants to an extent.
