It's a good car!
I bought this(Connect Edition) from Volkswagen Bangalore(JP Nagar). It's a good car. The driving experience is much better than another car available in this range. However, replacing a 1.2L engine with 1.0L is something, which I didn't like. Also, I got quite a good deal from the dealer.

I have recently bought my second Polo in 2010. The first one being with me since 2010. Both Polo cars have been wonderful. An amazing car to drive, awesome handling and one car truly trust with excellent German engineering on board. Never had any major problems with either of the cars. I am owning Polo 1.2 Highline Plus for the past 10 months and it has just been an amazing experience. The car is sheer pleasure to drive around city. Never really got a chance to take it on highways. I used to get a decent speed of 12Km per litre. Overall it has been a wonderful experience.

Sheer pleasure in driving, sporty and elegant looks, superb buying experience but not at all satisfied with the mileage. Company says 17kmpl but it gives me only 6-7 kmpl. Very disappointed. Everything apart from the mileage issue is good. Not completely happy with the car.

If you are looking for completely different driving experience or some more fun while driving then go for VW polo. Drive quality and handling is so smooth that you won't feel that you are driving at High speed like 120 to 150 km/h. Suspension is amazing along with good breaking. Looks..you will fall in love.

I have a 2012 1.2 mpi polo highline which has run only 48000 kms and has again developed engine issue. Its EPC light is on and its engine and body is rattling and shaking like crazy. As of my knowledge polo is the best car in hatch segment, you can feel superior German engineering.If you need safety and comfort features then polo is the best option. Best premium car in it's segment if you want a car with good performance. And yes it's a bit costly and has less features compared to other hatchbacks like i20 or baleno, but polo is way better from all the available options if you really care driving experience.
