It's worth noting that it's a compact SUV with an ARAI mileage of over 18 KMPL for the PETROL engine, which is quite impressive considering its performance. Its after-sales service is decent, but its parts can be a bit expensive, and they are not available in local markets, only at authorized service centers. Sometimes, it also takes time to procure them. However, this wasn't a deal-breaker for me, as I was aware of this beforehand. It boasts the best-in-segment GNCAP 5-star safety ratings. I don't understand why people would spend 17-20 lakhs on cars that may look glossy on the outside but lack structural build quality. Your life is far too precious to risk in a road accident, which could have a different outcome due to an emotional choice when buying a car. In 2023, this car has addressed most of the issues it had when it was first introduced in 2021. Skoda had to make several compromises in its company culture of being a performance-oriented brand when building this car for the subcontinent market. To achieve over 18 miles per gallon with a petrol engine without compromising on performance, they had to cut costs. Ultimately, the company also needs to make profits. I have numerous reasons to buy this car and only a couple of reasons not to. I bought it anyway and have absolutely no regrets.
