Volkswagen Jetta is said to be one of the most luxurious sedan in its segment and is available in four different variants. The Volkswagen Jetta 2.0L TDI Highline is the top end trim in its model line up. This variant is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine, which comes with a displacement capacity of 1968cc. It is mated with a six speed manual transmission gearbox, which sends the engine power to its front wheels. This power plant has the ability to churn out 138.1bhp along with a peak torque output of 320Nm. It is incorporated with a common rail based direct injection fuel supply system. On the highways, this sedan can deliver 19.33 Kmpl, while in the city limits it gives close to 16.18 Kmpl. It also has some best in class comfort and safety features. It has the ability to generate 138.1bhp at 4200rpm in combination with 320Nm between 1750 to 2500rpm. With the help of a CRDI fuel supply system, this sedan can generate 19.33 Kmpl and 16.18 Kmpl on the highways and city limits respectively. This diesel motor is cleverly mated with a six speed manual transmission gear box, which allows it to attain a maximum speed of 210 Kmph that is quite remarkable for this segment. It can cross the speed barrier of 100 Kmph in close to 12 seconds.
Braking and Handling:
The braking system is quite advanced and enhanced by ABS along with brake assist and electronic differential lock (EDL) . The company has fitted all the four wheels with disc brakes. It comes with anti slip regulation system that helps in handling the sedan on slippery roads.
