After driving it for 5 years, I can proudly say that Honda CITY deserves to be at the top in the SEDAN segment with the price range it offers. Weather you want to drive it like a sports car on the highway or like a convenient vehicle in the city having a lot of traffic. Well, let me take you through its best parts and very few disappointed ones. So, here we go..... Best parts :: 1. Interior design and parts - The interior is dual toned, makes it look luxurious, The dashboard is big and classic, All the necessary details are there in front of you. You get music mode, volume, channels change buttons on handle also, makes it convenient. It beeps if seat belts are not used. There are enough small storages, specific for cups/glasses, elbow rest as well. On the driver door, you get buttons to slide up/down for every window, buttons to control mirrors, and yes central locking system as well. So, you see, these things are handy. Wait there's more..2. Exteriors : From outside, It gives a hard and a beast look, from front to rear, sideways. This car having a sleek design from front helps to cut air resistance and helps to accelerate at more pace. The build quality is rock solid, although the paint doesn't seem to be same as that. Parking it under the direct hot sun light, may affect it's shade. Well, it did for me. But I've been parking it out almost everyday. 3. Comfort & Space - Much more comfortable, than you can expect in this price range, in terms of seats, the range of sliding the seats from front to rear Or let it be inclining it at almost from 80 degrees to 145 degrees, Well, that's a lot to allow any sitting postures and leg room for the driver as well as others. The quality of the seat covers are actually very good, I still didn't need to change them. 4. Handling - This is the best part of it that i love the most, Handling is so smooth and superb, Power steering helps a lot. Trust me, I've driven it on 170-175 Km/H on NH1 highway with a lots of luggage, It didn't even vibrated a little. 5. AC & Sound System - Never had to think about changing the sound system, It came with enough BASS and TREBLE. AC system is powerful, cools down the car with in minutes.6. Engine and Mileage - HONDA is known for its powerful engines, Engine is efficient, being a petrol engine, doesn't require much maintenance, Mileage is around 12-14 in city, 18 on highway. Gives best when driven in around 80-100 on highways.With so much pros, here comes few cons as well : 1. Suspension and Shockers : I think, the life of suspension and shockers is not that much which i expected, had to change within 3 years.2. Ground level : I had changes Tyres, with 17" alloys, that made it's ground level very low, have to be careful when driving over the high speed breakers.Well, that's it for the cons, I really had to think hard to get them, these are the ones that i accept. Never the less, this car is trust worthy and never had to face any issues related to engines or anything except punctures, hehe. I highly recommend this car to my mates, Recommending here too, Give it a test drive. But trust me, after driving this car, I didn't love the handling of any other car than the City one. Honda city is one of the best and reliable car on the Indian roads. Smooth drive, Good after-sales support, good looks and excellent resale value is one of the main points because of which the Indian customers are inclined towards it. Best in class comfort and some new features are just icing on the cake now and if you ask its owners they are more satisfied with the performance and value they get from this car than anything else in this segment as this segment is one of the most competitive segments in automobile industry Honda clearly knows what it needs to be the market leaders from past experiences I can say that Honda is learning well as of now this car is leader in the market in this segment not in numbers but with the loyal customer base it has. Some of the features like paddle shift are the big plus in Honda city which you will not find in cars even above its price range, the interior is also very calm and satisfying I would say it somehow compliments the exterior and character to the car. As we are approaching towards 2017 the facelift of the honda city is also on cards which is going to heat up this segment more.  

Bought diesel car in order to run more and more, till now, I am happy with my decision. Drove the car for 5-6 hundred kilometres continuously too. Performance rises with servicing and if driven properly, fuel economy claimed by the company is achieved. Instrumentation is good, although all features are not there, its a perfect car in the price range. The battery on this car drains damn fast. I just left my headlights on for a few hours while in office and when I came back the car will not even start!! Apart from that, the car is spacious and good performance when driven regularly. Thumbs up to honda for it has refined engine, power delivery is linear, the clutch is light, throttle response is good. Seats are comfortable and offer all round visibility. Better for city driving than its diesel variant, although central AC vent is small but provides sufficient cooling, there are plenty of storage space inside the cabin, large screen infotainment system is user-friendly and pairing my smart phone with blue tooth is an easy task, it has a good list of features like sunroof, reverse camera, climate control, button start, auto locking doors, leather seats, cruise control, keyless entry, electrically adjustable rear view mirrors etc. Audio sound quality is excellent. High-speed stability and braking performance are also good.  

Honda 1st came to India 16 years ago. The sleek and sporty profile of the car fired up the Indian market . It is one of the most comfortable, reliable and practical car in the market. Looks:- Once you squint pass the glaring band of chrome you will notice slim and edgy headlight and has arrow head profile. And it has a really appealing look.It has all "bells and whistles". Interiors:- The legroom at the back seat is huge and i mean it for this price point. Seat base extends all the way to the knee it feels wide and nice, good thigh support is there. You get air conditioning vents at the rear and 2 power outlets at the back. You have this silver 'T' running across the dash and piano black finish looks quite upmarket. A touchscreen is like icing on the cake and touchscreen controls for your air conditioning system which works really nicely .There is this big instrument cluster for the driver ,steering wheels feels nice, chunky and mounted controls are really handy. You have bluetooth connectivity so you can talk while you are driving and can have your favourite music from phone and roll the road like a king .You have enough number of power outputs in the car. There is a sunroof too and seats are spacious and comfortable for many k.m of driving it is well equipped and speced. Performance:- There is this six gear gearbox in city. There is good power of around 100bhp which is supported by a good 200Nm of torque. Drive is very smooth and once you pass 2000 rpm mark the power delivery is very linear and very easy to drive ,cruising on the highway is fun in this car. The diesel engine gives a good mileage of 26kmpl what we Indians love the most. It is reliving and thriving to drive in the city as well as on the highway. The rides are quite subtle and comfy because of the redesigned suspension it is not sporty but its dynamics are pretty impressive. There is enough boot space If you are planning some weekend outing it can handle all the luggage easily. Safety Features:- There are lots of safety features in it to ensure the maximum protection for the customers. The list includes dual front SRS airbags, security alarm, engine immobilizer, driver seat belt reminder, and rear window defogger. It also has an auto door lock, anti lock braking system and electronic brake force distribution.  

It’s since the 90’s that the City is ruling our roads. From its 1st generation, it has been more comfortable in driving than the Suzuki or Hyundai out there, and it continues to dominate its segment after almost 2 decades of its launch in India. The all new 4th generation Honda City is just the perfect successor of its previous generations. Starting with the all-new 1.5L (1497cc) engine that churns 119 PS of power & 145 nm of torque, which is adequate to cruise at high speeds on a highway or just moving along the busy roads of Metro Cities. It also gets a new 1.5L diesel engine with a mileage of 25 kmpl (claimed) which is greater than the petrol’s 17.8. You also have an option of a CVT gearbox (Continuously Variable Transmission) which is in the Automatic Transmission variant (SV, V, VX, VX (o)). The top model that is the VX (o) is packed with a lot of goodies. You get an electric sunroof, cruise control, ABS with EBD, 6.2’’ touch-screen infotainment system with navigation just as a start. Let’s talk about the interior. The VX (o) gets an option of either a black/beige interior. The dash gets premium plastic and looks perfect with the big touch screen system. The car also gets touch screen AC panel which is standard in all the variants. The seats are very comfy and wrapped in premium leather. The car gets a height-adjustable driver’s seat and telescopic steering wheel. It also gets electrically adjustable ORVMs. The rear gets an AC vent and armrest with bottle holder. The rear seats are the most comfortable of its class. Legroom is good and headroom is enough for an average person. The car gets 15-inch alloy wheels and a ground clearance of 165 mm. The shark type design of the City is very attractive and makes it look different from the others. The ride of the City is very good. The steering wheel gives good feedback at corners & at high speeds. The engine is very smooth and does not hesitate when you push it to its limits. The cabin is well insulated until you reach 140 Kmph. The boot space is quite good at 510 litres. It gets a smart key which enables keyless entry and a push start button to begin the joy ride with. Honda has not compromised on safety as always. The City gets ABS, EBD dual SRS airbags and an ACE body structure which keeps the cabin safe during impact from any side. Overall the car is quite good and deserves to be the King of its clan. The Ciaz may be an option for people who want a big car at a small price tag but it’s not as good as the HONDA CITY. Priced at 12.92 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai) the HONDA CITY VX (0) is a value for money car. Pros:- Ride quality, features, interior, after sales service. Cons:- puny tires, price, colour options.
