Punchy Enough , Lack on Rubbers

Test Driven All new Ford Figo, All the way better than earlier, its a new 1.5 liter Diesel generating almost 100 ps with 215 NM of torque which is really sound on papers & believe me it also delivers as per figures, In this too competitive segment of Diesel hatchbacks, this Ford has managed to book their place with this new ford Figo I drove the 1.5 liter Diesel titanium which is one model to their top model Titanium +, but its also a fully loaded vehicle As per my knowledge, it is the fastest new hatch when we talk about 0-100kmph It's a clear winner then all the other hatch in the segment like Swift, Etios Liva etc, The only nearing competition is with Previous 0-100 queen Volkswagon POLO which does 0-100 in almost 10.7 secs On papers, POLO is more powerful then Figo but on actual road drags Figo proved slightly quicker then POLO might be due to a lesser weight, Surprisingly new FIGO goes 0-100kmph in just 9.67 seconds as per my test driven figures. But lesser weight does not mean that there is any compromise on built quality. Ford never does so & here also the built quality is very good. Also the new Ford Figo looks stylish outside with new Aston martin like grill, Edgy Tail Lights , although on the interiors FIGO has adopted all the interior from its elder sibling Ford Ecosport, nothing new to see also plastic quality is not up to the mark, the cabin space, boot space, & space for your Knick Knacks is adequate, The major lacking I experienced during the test drive are the tires. Tyres & rims are small sized for such a powerful Motors & do not provide you that level of confidence around the corners especially on higher speed, But above all the car has all new looks, got a new punchy engine, & is very well priced than all its competition in the segment, expected to do good in the market, Its a good value for money car with ford price promise!!   Regards Arjun Tyagi Email: arjuntyagi23289@gmail.com
