- Great Car - Bad Customer ServiceExcellent car, great driving quality, great interiors, exceptional music system, comfortable even on long drives, great ground clearance and suspension. It had an issue initially with car engine stopping on traffic signals or in heavy traffic, however, sorted with software update during first service at no cost. Pickup quality is fine on Eco mode, good on City mode and excellent on Sports mode. One can actually feel the difference while changing modes. Mileage is so far good in comparison to other cars in the same class. Voice enabled feature is really good and system easily understands what you say.Cons -1. Pathetic customer service. While Tata has placed good process control plan, however, it fails as Customer Care Executive doesn't seems well trained or hiring is poor. After buying car I got frequent feedback calls from Tata, however, they just read a questionnaire and cannot deviate from it at all or understand anything beyond that questionnaire. Customer handling on showrooms and service center is poor. Anyone coming to buy a car may change his mind as I was about to after my first interaction. Service center staff pays no concern to what you say, they just follow their guidelines. Quality of car cleaning is poor.2. Doors have light colored cotton pads which easily gets spoiledOverall if you are buying just car - Go for it as you will not find anything better at this cost. It has all what a sedan costing 10L may have. - Tata Zest XT Revotron: Zesty buddy of my long toursI have purchased Tata Zest XT (Revotron) nine months back after a long 6 months research of hatchback to sedan segment cars. Finally I have decided to go for Sky Gray colored Zest XT over Maruti Swift, Amaze and VW Polo.During this nine months partnership we went for numbers of long rides and share range of roads from multi-lane highways to narrow hill roads. I love the 1193CC with 89BHP power mill on highways. Below are my picks on my Zest - Pros: Definitely the looks, music system with surround effects, speed, sport mode, performance, comfort, price tag, the jumbo luggage space (for compact sedan segment) Cons: Gear change experience can be smoother than existing, mirror link for mobiles is missing (good to have for today's generation) Driving Experience: The recent continuous long drive of more than 300 KM (New Delhi to Kasauli via Chandigarh) without worry and any body pain and Zest proved its comfort driving experience, high performance on plain and hill roads. Got satisfactory average mileage of approx 16 Km/Lt. on mixture of city and sport mode driving. The safety measures of ABS, EBD and CSC techniques enhance confidence while driving. Conclusion: I am happy with my Zest and recommend to a friend without a second thought.
