The Jeep Meridian comes with a 2-litre -diesel engine (170PS/350Nm). This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual and an optional 9-speed automatic. 4-wheel drive (4WD) is only available on the top-end automatic. There is currently no petrol unit available.
