An Awesome Crossover.
I wanted to buy an SUV and had shortlisted T-roc and Karoq. Waited for quite some time and finally, the wait was over and had the opportunity to be able to test drive both these. My points - 1. Karoq is bigger and more premium looks and feels of the cabin. The thud of doors, the soft and plus interiors, electrical driver seat adjustments, rear and front space, size of a panoramic sunroof, all factor Karoq 2. Despite having the same engine in both, t-roc's engine has been much better tuned and is really fun to drive. It has standard drive mode, manual mode as well as more punchy sports Mode. The engine stop-start function in T-roc helps to improve mileage in traffic conditions. On the other hand somehow the engine tuning in Karoq is not that good (maybe for the size, weight, aerodynamics, or otherwise) 3. The music system of t roc has 6 speakers and that of Karoq has 8. Even then I d rate t-roc 's music system a higher raring in view of better bass and overall sound quality. 4. Karoq has better space management - higher vertical space and boot space better managed since the back is upright rather than slanted as in t roc. 5. Karoq is appx 5.5 lac more expensive on road compared to t roc. Extra features in Karoq - size, plush interiors, electronic driver seat adjustment, cruise control. Extra features in t roc - engine stop-start function, front vehicle proximity sensor with automatic emergency brakes, active lane assist, cd player I finally bought t roc and am happy with my choice after 1500km. The max fuel efficiency achieved 17.9kmpl with the car fully loaded (reliance petrol)
