Up front it's more like the Polo hatchback, but 35mm have been shaved off the front bumper to make it look more proportianate, from either end. The power is pretty sufficient for the segment because VW promises the diesel with DSG might is just a pocket rocket. It will give sufficient mileage. The engine tends to get bit noisy, you wonder if the engine is crying foul or is it beacause of heavy foot. The gear shifts are smooth and something you would expect from VW car. Finally, VW Ameo is a good car as safety wise all variants get dual airbags with ABS and EBD.
