Volkswagen Polo is a beautiful car overall. Mileage: 16-18 in the city and 19-20 on the highways. Comfort: front seats are very comfortable, although the rear seats would do well to provide more thigh support. Suspension: The suspension on the Polo GT TSI is decent, but not great. Even with regular company servicing, one can feel great deterioration of suspension in this car after just a year. Driving pleasure: The Polo GT TSI is a pleasurable drive. Once in drive gear, it just rolls to your acceleration, with little to no lag. Unlike the accelerator in its counterparts of other brands, the one in the Polo GT is sensitive, so it doesn't require you to push down on it continuously. It's an easy drive with even a relaxed right foot. The steering is responsive, moving freely to your will. Media and entertainment: The media console on the GT could use an upgrade. Although the speakers are clear and one couldn't ask for better ones on an under 10 lakh car, the entertainment console itself isn't all that easy to use while driving. One would take a while to get used to them. Windows and miscellaneous: Rear windows don't open fully, only about halfway down. That's something that Volkswagen could improve upon. The car has a responsive engine and transmission system, and lives up to its GT tag when shifted into sports mode. All in all, the Polo GT TSI is a great drive for in city travelling as well as the highways. Definitely recommend for an everyday drive.
