As we talk about Cars i must tell your ll about my car...Skoda Rapid TDIIts a awesome piece of Engineering.After so much of surfing on internet and asking my friends about cars i finally decided to purchase Skoda Rapid Diesel Variant. i had finalized few cars that were Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Vento, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz And Skoda Rapid.But after comparing the performance, mileage and safety features i decided to buy a Rapid.Let's start with the in-depth Review of the Car:Exteriors of Rapid:-Style variant comes with Projectors headlamps with Adjustable Headlight and Fog lamps front as well as rear, indication lights on rear mirror, auto rain sensing wipers, Reverse Parking sensors and it comes with 15 inch 5 spoke allow wheels and 185/60/r15 tyres. however i felt bit unsecure with those tyres so i upgraded them to 205/55/r15 which i installed them after a month of use.Interiors of Rapid:- It comes with a premium dashboard with dual tone color and feels very rich and classy. the dash includes a cool glove box, music player, Ac Controls.....Chrome For Interior Door Handles, Height Adjustable Head Rest at Front and rear, Leather Wrapped Gear Shifter nob, Coat Hook on Rear Roof Handles.To assist the driver wiith ample information like speed in digital and analog, RPM, fuel indication. There is a small screen to display many handy things like speed, temp of engine as well as outside temp, trip, average speed, time from when the car is on and distance traveled from the time its switched on, Distance to the empty the tank and how many kms it will run. The car also offers climatic control Ac, Cruise Control, Adjustable Steering wheel,Adjustable seats front, hand rest front and rear, rear Ac vents and many more features.There is a leg rest padal for the driver to rest his leg on those long drives on the highway.Lets talk about the performance now...The car Performance well.the car is very powerfull. its a 1.5-litre 16V Diesel Engine which produces 103.52 bhp @4400rpm and 250Nm of Torque @1500-2500rpm. Its a 4 Cylinder Direct Injection engine.You can feel the turbo kick and overtaking is never a problem in rapid, you just have to press the throttle.I was able to Push it till 203km/h.Safety:-It comes with front dual Air Bags and ABS for controls.You feel very confident while driving. The Steering feels firm and overall the car controls are very good.Maintenance:-Servicing a Rapid is once in a year or 15000km which ever comes first. I have not yet serviced my car yet, its in december so i Don't know much about it. But from my Research i came to know servicing cost comes around 8000 to 12000 approx.My Review is based on my Personal Exprience as i am using it from last 11 months and its a really amazing Car.The premium Style, the comfortable ride and the performance all in one car, In this Semi Sedan car You will get it all.
