I was waiting for this car since a long. Currently, I have the Ciaz which is bit long for city driving. That's the reason why I am planning to buy a new car in small size segment. I saw the Ignis just few days back (yet not took test drive of it). I really like this car in term of interior as well as exterior. In addition, its mileage is also great. Now the best part of this car is its body type. It comes with a push button start and also has Auto Gear Shift option. Maruti Brand means low maintenance and great resale value promise and biggest plus point on the top of all this feature is its price range is less than 8 lakh. So as per my knowledge, as such there is no alternate of this car (even in price range of 10 lacs there is no car available with such great plus points.) in the Indian market. Very few negative points which I have noticed is, width of this compact SUV. Width of this compact suv is around 1690 mm which is a bit less than its main competitor KUV 100. With such narrow width, its bit risky to take turn with speed of just 70 / 80 kmph. As per my knowledge Maruti could make this car more wider as this car has sufficient height and length. Second negative point is, its music system panel. Except top model, music system panel is not informative and attractive. There is no betterment in music system, Maruti kept it as their old models. Maruti could make it like Baleno / Hundai i20. But overall this compact suv is best available option for small family as well as for young generation.
