I was in search of cars since 2016, After lot of study and many test drives my requirement was 1.2L engine , 4 cylinder patrol car. Since my budget was fixed so swift, figo, Micra and many other hatchbacks were out of range. Only option was Ignis base varient. I was doubtful about space at rear seat and visited showroom. Rear seat is good for 3 people. We Indians can manage it. EXTERIOR- I am not much interested in looks of car. I needed car for performance. So rear looks of Ignis is not issue for me INTERIOR- u will get lot of space inside. Lot of head room ,sufficient leg room. Rear seats can occupy 3 medium size adults. Not 3 fat individuals. Bottle holders are very useful. Visibility from drivers seat is good. Rear visibility is point to worry. C pillar is large. U have to b careful while parking. PERFORMANCE- VERY good performance on road. It is good for highways as well as city traffic. As a car owner u never want to drive on bad roads of village. But u don't need to worry about Ignis. 15inch tyres and 180mm of ground clearance is perfect for indian roads. Ignis will never hit any speed breaker. 1.2L engine is very powerful. Works very well in Ghat areas. U feel control on vehicle at speed of 110 also. Long drives may b an issue but It can be managed. Cornering is not easy. Body roll can b seen. AC is not very powerful but sufficient for this car. Milage is point where we Indians are concerned about. Here it wins. Mine patrol varient gives milage of 20plus on highways. City milage is upto16. Stearing wheel is very responsive, smooth. Due to light weight of car, u have to careful while accelerating. Many times tyres skids. In built music system is not good for music lovers. I got outside system with Hertz speakers and parcel tray with blauplunkt speakers. Works well. Till now I have driven 13000 km. After 10000km service vehicle is quite smooth and free to drive. CONCLUSION- IT IS GOOD CHOICE FOR BUDGET ORIENTED PEOPLE. SIGMA AND DELTA VARIENTS ARE VALUE FOR MONEY.
