Maruti Ignis is best in class, though the legroom in the rear seat is less but who cares. Rolled 800kms till date (in a week). Mileage is good, I hope after 2nd or 3d service it's mileage might increase as claimed by the company representative and a few of my friends who have a great knowledge about diesel motors. Driving through Gurgaon and Delhi traffic is like a piece of cake in this car. Anyone who has a mid budget can go for this car. Also, you can bargain for this car as it's not so popular as compared to Baleno. My Onroad price was 7.2 lakhs something. I got it for 6.65 lakhs (Gurgaon). Got the best deal (I guess). Compact car preferable for 4 people, stability on the highway is good and maneuverability in traffic is good. Pedals are bit stiff, so is steering but we can't compare it with Hyundai.
