Ertiga : It's a LUV , Long term review

1. The decision of buying Maruti Ertiga VDI diesel was clear and undoubted because of its overall success and more pros and fewer cons. Though the buying experience from Maruti dealer was not good that much. 2. After using for 11 months I find some pros and cons as follows: (1) Pros: Decent looks, fuel efficient being 7 seater, value for money features, good comfortable seats, soft steering, short turning radius which makes it a hatchback like feel in traffic and parking. (2) Cons: Noticeably reduction in torque when ac is on, AC works below average in summer, almost no boot space at all. 3. Pickup is good when ac is off. Average Fuel economy after 11 months of running is 17 kmpl. Overall it is best car as it never feels like you are driving a 7 seater car. After driving for a long distance, I found that both drive and seating were comfortable. Features you get in VDI/VXI fulfills your basic need in a car. ZDI/ZDI+ offers advance modern features in this segment. But I must mention here that the after sale service experience is below average. You may feel insecure about your car during servicing . So I will suggest that during servicing, you request them that you want to be present there in the servicing area. Engine and dealer will be the same for new Ertiga. You may find this review helpful.
