Bad Experience

I bought a Ciaz 15 days back. Last week all of sudden while driving in heavy traffic, my brother while trying to move away from a bus turned right when he heard a loud noise after which he couldn't control the weel so immediately pressed the breaks and the car stopped touching a tire of a tractor moving from of him. Since he couldn't control the steering there was an impact with the tire of a tractor. And now after further inspection from Maruthi so-called inspection team, it was concluded that it was because of the impact with the tire, that the tierod broke but in reality, the rod broke before the incident. It is very obvious that it was a manufacturing defect. It is a new car, Maruti forced us to accept that it is not a manufacturing defect but it happened because there was some impact that got the tie rod to break and they forcefully made us claim insurance for all the damaged parts. We are really helpless and we are not sure if there is any way out of this. We bought the car from Nexa Pillai and sons in Chennai. We are really upset and we are not sure what can be done. Has anyone else faced a similar situation with Ciaz? If yes, please suggest what could be done.
