Maruti Alto K10

Owning my Maruti Alto K10VXI from jan'17, So I am the right person for a long term user review. it has the following pros- First of all its a Maruti so obviously cheap and fuel efficient (18-19 KMPL in city conditions and 20-21 on the highways), availability of airbags in "O" trims, perfect for rural areas due to it's ground clearance, power to body weight ratio is very good so you can feel the power (68ps). Basic necessities are available in VXI trim like front power windows and music system. Its AC is strong enough when you are talking about a 4 lakh car, no power lack feeling with 5 passengers and AC on, which is quite impressive for a 1000cc engine. Power steering makes it fun to drive CD, USB and aux input are good for music player but Bluetooth is missing. It has the following cons: Lack of safety features like ABS and EBD not available in any trim you can provide that on the addition of their cost in higher variants, rear seat leg space is not enough for height more then 5'7, rear seat headrest is missing but it really doesn't matter. Boot space is not enough for luggage of more than 3-4 bags, Bluetooth is missing in music player, I wonder it costs just 500-700 bucks which may add tonnes of features in music player but anyway we are talking about an entry-level Hatchbacks. Overall it's the best choice for rural area entry-level hatchbacks at this price.
