Very Poor Ride Quality

Had a good experience earlier with i20 and so we purchased Alcazar. XUV700 was the preferred option, but due to the high waiting period settled for Alcazar petrol AT signature. Not sure of the safety. However, the ride quality is extremely bad for passengers in the middle and rear seats. The ride is very bumpy. Even my kids aged 4 and 9 do not feel comfortable in the rear seat due to the bumpy ride. There is not sufficient legroom or headroom for adults anyway, which I was Ok with at the time of purchase. Mileage is very less, like 6-7 km in the city, and have not got anything above 12 km in long drives on the highway.
