  Q.

  Hi, I'm planning for polo trendline with 1.0mpi engine.Is this engine underpowered. Does engine handle underhigh slope area with acceleration with 2 members in a car.mileage is not an issue as my monthly drive just 100kms only.please suggest whether vehicle is underpowered

  Volkswagen Polo's 1.0 MPI engine delivers 75.10bhp@6200rpm of power and 95Nm@2950-3800rpm of torque. That is sufficient enough for the city commutes. However, it is not recommended for enthusiast drivers. If we talk about its performance at hilly terrains, it will do the job but you need to keep the car at low gears and lower.   I am planning to buy a car for my family. My average per day travel is around 15 km in weekdays and up to200km in weekend or holidays (occasionally). Now I am confused which car to buy among swift VXI, Volkswagenpolotrendline plus, grand I 10-Magna (NIOS hasn’t been launched here yet) and Tigor XM. All these cars costmesimilar price, however TATA is offering me handsome discount. The vehicle shall be single handedly used bymeand I am planning to use it over 7 to 8 years but I haven’t been able to decide which model will bebetterfor me. All of my friends are suggesting me to go for swift due to its resale value. I am looking foryourvaluable suggestion.
