Endeavour

The name says it all ' Endeavour'. This car got my attention since the day Ford launched it in India. A premium SUV with all the features of a luxury car could have, at an affordable price. What you get with this car is confidence to go anywhere your heart says without thinking much, you can climb mountains, cruise through rivers and with Terrain management feature. You have to just rotate the controllers and push the throttle other things car will do for you. It comes with two diesel engine options, a five-cylinder 3.2-litre motor (200PS/470Nm) and a four-cylinder 2.2-litre engine (160PS/385Nm). The 2.2-litre comes with an option of a six-speed manual or automatic, while the 3.2-litre is solely available with the six-speed automatic. Total maintenance of the Endeavour is a little high but compare it to any SUV with these features it's nothing. Fuel Efficiency is great in both the variants (3.2 & 2.2 ). Driving this huge car in the city is no pain with smooth suspensions and controlled steering you can easily get away with anything. With all the features of a 4X4 SUV, it also feels luxurious inside, with 22 buttons on steering and 8 inch Touch player. The console which driver gets behind the steering displays a lot of info which sometimes creates confusion but it helps to know your car while driving. Aerodynamics of Endeavour has no competition in this range, the body is well sculpted and it gives a masculine look where ever it goes.   But being a car has cons also, 1. 2.2 version do not have the sunroof, electrically folding seats etc. 2. In city auto. gear box will lag a little.   If you are planning to buy this SUV, mark my words you won't regret this decision. With comfort, style, power and luxury its worth every penny you spend on this.
