Renault India has recently introduced the AWD version of its best selling SUV, Duster in the car bazaar. It has started promoting this variant way before its launch and continuing even now. The car maker has already filmed a few videos, which has highlighted its advanced off-road assistance features. In this video, we can see that the all wheel drive variants are incorporated with an anti-skid resistance program, which helps this utility vehicle to be agile. Furthermore, this SUV is also bestowed with Hill Start Assist function, which will be helpful to glide through the terrains with ease. Not to forget that the car maker has also integrated an electronic stability program, which collaborates with ABS and EBD to keep this vehicle stable irrespective of the road conditions. By highlighting all these aspects, the manufacturer is assuring better drive control anywhere. This newly introduced trim is fitted with a 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine that is paired with a six speed manual transmission gearbox. It can produce a maximum power of 108.5bhp along with a commanding torque output of 248Nm, which is good. It also has an i-Drive with shift-on-fly system, which allows the driver to choose between three different drive modes, which are 2WD, Auto and 4WD lock. It will now face the likes of Tata Safari Storme, Mahindra Scorpio 4x4 and Nissan Terrano in the Indian automobile market.
